What Does Your BMI Tell You?

As many readers regularly do, many calculate their BMI - the so-called Body Mass Index. It is intended to give you an idea of whether you are in the normal or the obese group.

Is Your BMI A Reliable Indicator?
All fitness experts will admit your BMI is not the ONLY indicator you need. In fact, bodybuilders would be considered obese if you entered their height and weight. Arnold "Terminator" Schwarzenegger - the governor of California - is one good example. You could hardly find any fat on his body when he was acting out his role as Terminator.

Therefore, you need MORE than just the BMI calculator to determine whether you are normal or overweight.

The Cheapest Tool - Your Mirror
The cheapest tool available to everyone is your mirror. Take a decent look at yourself. What do you see?

If you like what you see, move on to another blog. You don't need to read the rest of this article.

But I Don't Like What I See - What Can I Do?
If you have an office job, quit all forms of sugar - white sugar especially. People are known to have lost a pound per week just by giving up sugar in their coffee. If you don't like your coffee black, try using a low-fat milk in your coffee. Never milk powder, often filled with up to 17% (or more) of fat.

If that won't do the trick, try drinking fruit tea instead of coffee.

Stay tuned for more about a diet that really works. I am reviewing a very informative product right now, which you will hear more about in the days ahead...
